William Laziza is techno-wizard if there ever was one. He came of age in the days when radio tubes were evolving to transistors and has been studying electronics ever since. He is a lifetime learner and a Professional Engineer specializing in radio, telecommunications, satellite ground stations, broadcast video, fiber optics and internet technologies. His latest projects include broadcast convergence infrastructure for CUNY's Graduate School of Journalism and HDTV migration for CUNY-TV.
Artistically, he is the master builder for sculptures and media installations on display at Micro Museum. He has nurtured dozens of collaborations with music and media artists and is the producer of the public access TV program SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION that airs on Brooklyn Community Access Television.
