VIDEOSCOPO
Videoscopo is an interactive media sculpture that is one of William Laziza’s oldest sculptures. The giant size kaleidoscope is manually manipulated with small objects, human hands, or colored strips of gel materials, as it sits in front of a large TV monitor. Cameras, an oscilloscope, an electric keyboard and other images processing computer equipment are used to make this sculpture create expansive video art. Many of these video files are used later to in William Laziza’s video jewelry series.
